Dr. Marek Vareka has been working at the Masaryk Museum in Hodonín for a long time as a historian - curator (almost 13 years). During this time, he prepared 27 original author exhibitions for the city, led 3 large conferences in Hodonín, significantly enriched the processing of history and is highly respected for his publishing activities for the city of Hodonín. Most of his author's exhibitions are connected to the supra-regional level. Dr. Vařeka has great authority and trust in professional circles, while he succeeds in obtaining high historical and financial prices for unique exhibits for his exhibitions.

In the T.G.M. Museum the story begins with shots of the icons of the history of the city of Hodonín - T.G. Masaryk, František Štěpán Lotrinský, the Lichtenstein family... In the background is the voice of Mr. Vareka, who reflects on these personalities and tells his relationship to history. The camera pans to his office where he tells his story. Why did he choose this focus on his journey and tells about the journey and his relationship with the Masaryk Museum, where he has been working as a historian for almost 13 years. The story that Mr. Vařek tells is interspersed with slow-motion shots of the environment of his study, books, and the Masaryk Museum, thus adding to the atmosphere and overall impression of his narration.
